Log the viewing, not just the title
A movie can appear more than once in your viewing history. A dated log records a particular watch, while your current media entry keeps your present relationship to the film. This separates a rewatch from a simple change to a rating.
Choose the details that matter
Add a watched date, rating and rewatch status when you log. You can rate without publishing a long review, or write about a film when you have something to say. Your diary and your ranked Top 5 serve different purposes: a history of watching and an introduction to your taste.
Bring existing history carefully
Export your Letterboxd data, upload the ZIP in settings and inspect the preview. Supported diary rows retain watched dates, ratings and rewatch information. Review unmatched items and the import summary rather than assuming every row will resolve perfectly.
Let films meet the rest of your taste
FeelSame also tracks TV and supports music favorites. A film diary gives context to the movie side of your profile; it does not need to represent your entire identity. Taste Match can draw on movies, shows and music when you explore people.
Keep control of visibility
A diary is part of an account with its own privacy settings. Private profiles stay behind the existing access rules. Public search pages show only permitted public content and do not publish private account details. Review your profile settings before sharing a link.
